CONGRATULATIONS TO NORAH!
Congratulations to Norah for placing 3rd in the 84th South Suburban Music Eisteddfod held at Canning Town Hall on August 18th. Norah entered the Musical Theatre category 13 years and under, and was the youngest in her category.
The eisteddfod was an exciting milestone, being Norah’s first vocal performance on a big stage. Her execution, from introducing herself to singing the last note, was carried out with commitment and focus.

FREE UKELELE LESSONS FOR SENIORS HELD AT ARCHBISHOP GOODY RESIDENTIAL AGED CARE
As part of Jumeirah Music Centre Perth’s 15th anniversary celebration, our guitar/ukelele teacher, Jayson Fish, visited the Archbishop Goody Residential Aged Care in East Perth and held free ukulele lessons for seniors. Residents were engaged in the activities, and the feedback was positive.

STUDENT CONCERT VENUE BOOKED
Our concert venue this year is the State Library Theatre.
The venue is booked for November 7th. There will be two concerts on this day. (A second venue for new students/beginners will be arranged soon.)
Student concerts are free to family members, relatives, and friends. Feel free to invite your guests. There is, as always, a participation fee for each student to help cover the venue and facilities hire. This year’s participation fee is $35 and will be invoiced separately starting next month.
Jumeirah Music Centre concert is a celebration of students’ diligence and commitment to learning an instrument. We turn private lessons and private practice into a shared live experience.
